Mozambique Mission - 24 June - 6 July

On Friday the 24th of June we left very early the morning for the follow-up mission to Mozambique.
Having had a very successful trip in April we were full of faith and excitement for what God was going to do. We were not disappointed…

Sunday Church Service

We spent the week with the Bible school students teaching on hearing the voice of God. We had 3 days of teaching where we practically engaged in hearing God’s voice, giving them opportunities to hear God’s voice for themselves, each other and also the nation!

Every week the Bible school has an outreach. We were privileged to go on two!

Prison in Gondola

Local Primary School in Seserra

Seserra

I also had the privilege of going with Serra into his village, Seserra, where he showed me around. We would drive to a location then walk around, visiting the house, praying for the people, driving to the next location and doing the same. Walking with Serra through his village I couldn’t help to think that this is how Jesus also did it.  I could see that he has an immense love for his people and his words from that day still lie deep in my heart: “These houses have people in them and these people need Jesus”. That is why he does what he does, sacrificially and daily!

Once again this has been an amazing visit to our family in Mozambique. We are so excited to see the transformation in the lives of people and how it flows into the community. This is what we dream to see – the church, in the form of people, passionately loving and serving God and impacting every area of society around them! This mission once again just emphasized once again that discipleship is relationship!

Thank you so much for all the prayers (PRAY)and financial (PAY) support! A huge thank you to Bibles for Believers and Vaalrivier Dienstasie who made it possible for us to take 200 Bibles to Mozambique!

I personally can’t wait to GO again…
