There are very few things that can really compare to
seeing a person’s life being impacted by the love and power of God. When God
starts working in someone’s life and you see a change that is actually humanly
impossible.
This is what we are seeing in Olievenhoutbosch.
Johan Visser has been discipling Nicolas and Philemon for
a while now. And it has been incredible to see the change that comes, not only
in their own lives, but also in their marriages. Simple obedience-based
discipleship. A couple of weeks ago both Philemon and Nicholas attended the
Victory Training (a high impact weekend where foundational Biblical truths are
laid) and God started working with them in the area of baptism.
On the 23rd of July both of them got baptized.
It was such an amazing day that we got to share with the greater church family.
Philemon’s wife, Ashley, organised to work a double shift on Saturday so that
she could also be there for the baptism the Sunday.
This is really a testimony of the Kingdom of God coming
into the heart of a person and working a transformation that will impact
everything and everyone around that person. I know that these two men will
stand tall in their community and shine brightly for the Kingdom of God…
