Missions Feedback

The church is on a mission!!!

During the June/July holidays we had 4 different teams going on missions trips into Africa. 3 Into Botswana and another to South Sudan. We are passionate about the local church making a difference in their local communities, and that is how we do missions. Supporting local discipleship churches or church plants through serving, equipping, teaching and empowering local churches to be even more effective!

Incredible testimonies came back from the missions field as the blind see, the death hear and people are added to the Kingdom of God. It is also great to see the work that God does in the hearts of the people who go!

Here is a link to feedback from the youth mission that went to South Botswana.

Africa Dream Church Plant School 2013

We have a dream in Every Nation to reach every nation in Africa through planting at least one disciple making church in every nation in Africa - by 2020!!! We do this by making disciples, raising leaders and planting churches...

That is what the Africa Dream Church Plant School is all about...

I was really privileged to be sent by my local congregation to learn more about planting a church as we look towards to dream to reach Eldoraigne, Centurion. We had an incredible time! Over the course of the two weeks we were 47 adults and kids from 5 different nations coming together for one purpose - the honour and glory of God's name and His Kingdom.

We were blessed to have leaders who have really fought the battles when it comes to church planting imparting their knowledge and their life experience into us. I can honestly say we have learnt from the best, not because they haven't made mistakes, but because they were willing to make their mistakes our success stories. Truly humbling to have leaders who are not building on their own names or their own glory, but for the glory of God.

From the group attending the Church Plant School there will be 5 new church plants - Zimbabwe, Bulawayo; Mozambique, Beira; Lichtenburg, Olievenhoutbosch and Riebeeck Wes all within South Africa.
Then there are also 4 new congregational plants from our Every Nation Tshwane church in the Eastern Suburbs of Cape Town, Eldoraigne in Centurion, Moot and Mamelodi in Pretoria.

It has been incredible to see how God can knit people's hearts together in the space of two weeks. Where there is unity God commands a blessing!

Africa2020 is not just a dream, it's something that was birthed in the heart of God and today we are living that dream!

Here we go... Eldoraigne!

Wordwide, we are a disciple making movement that exists to honour God and advance His Kingdom through planting disciple-making churches that will plant disciple-making churches… Hence Eldoraigne.

We believe that the church is God’s vehicle to bring change in society. God has given the responsibility of establishing the values of the Kingdom of God in every sphere of society to the church – a body of believers.

In 2010 God called us to plant a church in Centurion. This was the birth of the congregation in Southdowns. Now in 2013 we know that God is calling us to plant a congregation in Eldoraigne, Centurion.

The way that we plant churches is through reaching lost people and establishing them in Christ (making disciples). This is the process we will now also follow for planting Eldoraigne. We have identified a couple of key leaders that we know also carry the heart and DNA and have asked them to pray about becoming involved with the church plant in Eldoraigne. This is where we are at the moment.

Riette and I have been asked to lead the team that will start engaging in Eldoraigne. For both of us this is a really exciting challenge and something that we are really looking forward to. After we have finalised the team that will be part of the church plant we will have a vision night where we will share the heart, dream and action plan for reaching Eldoraigne.

Currently we are really in the "preparation to go" phase and after I come back from the church plant school we will actively start working with the team. Please pray specifically that God will prepare the way for us into Eldoraigne. That He will provide the open doors into the community and that He will reveal to us the men and woman of peace.

I am incredibly excited to share this journey with you!!
